Re: RSD "Live in Europe '89"

I may be an obsessive Spacemen 3 conpletist but I didn't buy this... Me neither. Spaceage also put out the original recordings for the first Chapterhouse LP for RSD. It must be a nice little earner for the label given the zero overhead other than the costs of pressing up and distributing some LPs.

Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

Lots and lots of BJM... Someone on the BJM Facebook page posted a link to a whole bunch of live shows (soundboard and audience recordings) as well as few other nuggets too. I know they can often split opinion but i have always liked their output regardless of the nonsense thats often tarnished thei...

Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

Just been listening to the new Courntey Barnett Album, Tell me how you really feel. It is a bit disappointing I think. It plods along and lacks the distinctiveness of the first two releases. Anyone else heard it? Yep, and I agree with your summary. I would add 'dull' to 'plods along' if I were bein...

Re: Brian Jonestown Massacre tour

Saw them several times in Oz and didn't like each show much. They seemed to attract a really hostile and agressive audience all hyped up by that crappy film and trying to bait Anton (successfully  ) which made for a horrible vibe. The same thing happened at a show in MCR in about 2012, I think...

Re: Fucked Up Inside - RSD Vinyl Reissue

how's the Mogwai? I was rather tempted by that. some of their best stuff on there and for some reason I do imagine it would sound good on vinyl The Mogwai LP is OK. I have it on a double 10" which is simply excellent, but I'm not sure it is 100% kosher, so a legitimate release is nice. I reall...

Those pics are great.
Except everyone is playing left-handed.
:D I hadn't noticed. My intention was taken by how focused they are in the pictures. Well spotted.

Re: The Darkside - Boxset

I bought and paid for it when the preorder was announced. It arrived well after the general release (for reasons that were easy to understand) and cost me an extra £20-odd (for reasons that were not easy to understand at all) :x . Won't be doing that again I'm afraid, which is a shame as I would usu...
