The whole thing is fucked. I don't think there's a better way of explaining the horrific circumstances the UK is right now. It's a return to the narrow minded foreigner blaming of the 60's, 70's and 80's. The older generation and the ill informed scared that they 'might be losing their country' to i...

Check out Folkazoid's facebook page. There's a shot on there of J recording.
This could be interesting, I wasn't that keen on their last record TBH, it was a bit too straight for me but hopefully J will add a bit of Memphis groove to this.

Err, I don't really know what to say right now... 9HRklR-DwZ4 Erm, to be honest I have a few questions about this: Is this real? What does he start doing Alan Partridge 'air strings'? Why is he using a gas mask as an accessory? If someone can clear these up I'd very much appreciate it.

Re: Interesting Spacemen 3 Article
Thanks, I spotted that on twitter on Monday. A really good read and a nice new perspective on the band.

Re: T-Rex
Now i'm afraid i am going to have to show my age ! . My first ever live gig was T.Rex at (as it was then) the Empire Pool at Wembley London back in march 1972 (good job i kept the ticket stubb) . There were two gigs that day, one at 17.30 and one at about 19.30. I managed to get a ticket to the ear...

Re: T-Rex
Abso-fucking-lutely. Like you I first heard him through that Levi's ad in school - it sounded wild and exciting and unlike anything else I'd ever heard. Turned out my dad had a few of his hit singles in battered 7" inch format. I'm a massive fan of 'Ride a White Swan' which I believe was his f...

Did anyone make it along to this? I read on the flyer it was him and John Coxon.

Re: Green Man Festival
Wife and I are thinking about it. Great line-up, just not sure with a 2.5 year old. Hmmmm M Modlab, I know he's more a todler than a baby now but I think this is still some fine advice from Father John Misty: Is it OK to take my nine-month-old baby to a festival? Yeah, it should be, although you sh...

Re: New J/Spz music?
To me it sounds like a Spz track minus the vocals. As in, the places in the tracks where it drops down a level sound like space for the vocals to sit in. I'd be surprised if that wasn't on the album. He was offered 2 grand to do that drone which turned into the bridge song - as in he was going g to ...
