a lot of the reasons that people voted to leave the EU are superfical, hearing comments like 'we pay money to brussels, i'm sick of it' (with a few more expletives) (an obvious question being where were you when you should have been voting in the party you want to lead the country?) not realising t...

Boris will be PM. I don't think Gove or Theresa May have the support to challenge him. & honestly he's been groomed for being PM by his pals & acolytes on Fleet Street for the best part of 30 years, it's been strangely inevitable tho preposterous until just lately. I don't think Boris a nece...

Under other circumstances I could see valid reasons for leaving the EU. Even tho I am pro-eu I do think it's a flawed institution & there are possible benefits to be reaped from working outside its confines. But this? This isn't a good idea. The whole thing has been a disaster from the get go. T...

Re: euro 2016
In fairness, Ireland were lucky to come up against that Italy team. Italy were completely nonplussed, clearly had their minds on their Spain game. Still Ireland played ok & actually I would fancy their chances against France if they play with the same aggression & determination..
Re: euro 2016
V concerned for Ireland tonight, lineup looks poor.. Hope I'm very very wrong. The Italian lineup has a fair few weaknesses too but Ireland will need a huge change in form to get a result.
A cheer for Iceland btw. Brought a bit of joy into the day. Delighted for them, amazing stuff.
