I just bought myself some E20's the other day as well. I've not used them as yet but will be taking them along to any gig I go to in the future. I saw a band called Atomic Suplex a week ago and that left my ears ringing for a couple of days after. Plenty more of those gigs over the years, loads of t...

Hell of a lot cheaper at Norman Records http://www.normanrecords.com/records/14 ... t-commune-

Whether it's gold vinyl or not it doesn't say but it is coloured and you do get the 7" as well.

Re: LOOP to reform?

The second set began with Collision. Two or three songs after that someone shouted out for Collision to which Rob said "you've already had that one", haha. Probably about a 20 min break inbetween. I don't think they played for as long as advertised as it was all over well before 11pm. Grea...

....and videos (not mine) http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=loop+netil+house&sm=3 Vocals were more audible live. Except on Mother Sky where I thought it was just an instrumental but the video shows Rob singing. When Soundhead started and finished I thought it was good but not as good a...

Shingig Magazine - Guide To Spacerock

http://www.shindig-magazine.com/Interstellar-Overdrive.html Looks pretty good and will appeal to quite a few on here I reckon seeing as it takes in Sp3, Loop, Heads, White Hills as well as the originators like Hawkwind and the Floyd. Re: Jefferson Airplane & The San Francisco Sound

I played that Grape album last week actually and really enjoyed it. I noticed the Black Crowes occasionally cover Hey Grandma... Me too, great album. I was picking songs for my guest slot on a friends radio station and had Hey Grandma in the bag for it. Love that song, easily the best track on teh ...

Re: RIP Lou Reed

Man oh man, there's not much else to say is there. Everyone dies, we all know it's going to happen, but hearing the news late on Sunday evening was like a punch in the heart. Truly saddened by this. As mentioned in this thread we were just talking about Coney Island Baby and other Lou albums last we...

Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

I've been thoroughly enjoying Lou Reed - Coney Island Baby. One of my fav albums I'd say, such a good vibe to it. The glory of love...... That's uncanny. I've had a week of 'binging' on Lou Reed - that's the only way to go, right? Started at the dirty pop of Transformer and worked out from there. T...

How does it sound? Better than previous albums? More of the same or have they embraced dubstep?

Re: Goat : World Music LP

Also picked up the Wooden Shjips/Daniel Avery mixes of the Asphodells RSD 12" for a fiver as well which for me is the better of the two vinyls. Interesting - which track Johnny? The Asphodells album from earlier this year is a future classic. Driving music par excellence. The genius of Weather...

Re: Goat : World Music LP

I was in Rough Trade yesterday and picked up the Run To Your Mama Vol 2 vinyl for a fiver. They had Vol 1 as well, amongst lots of other sale items. It's pretty good overall but the Cherrystones mix was a disappointment, didn't like that at all on first listen. Also picked up the Wooden Shjips/Danie...
