So Verve start their US tour in 2 days, any of our American brethren going? Apparantly you'll be treated to at least 4 new songs. I agree that the Canada 2003 boot is one of the gems of the AG era. Spz as free-garage band.

The Electric Mainline (which had evolved into something new yet again) into Rated X into Run segment is glorious.

Not keen on the Cop Shoot Cop though.

I think thats pretty good really. Even though I dont have a record player to hear the (studio?) 'True Love Will FInd You..' Wonder if future singles will follow a pattern... DJ cover and extended Harmony. I think the days of brand new standalone songs on Spz singles are long gone, if they ever exist...

Protools.. now there's another good tool used for evil. Both this and compression can be used for good but are now abused. ...erm... Anyway: compression - is that what Led Zep have done with 'the Mothership'? The Beatles with 'Love'? Anyone? Correct. yeah i was at blackpool and have mixed feelings about it. Maybe expectations are too high. Nicks guitar is quiet as a mouse on this tour for a reason no one can quite work out.

Holy Are You was used as intro music right in the early days of the band, so it was quite significant that they were resurrecting it. It does work rather well. Guaranteed to make a hardcore fan go mental.
