Anyone listen to it yet? The opening track 'Chasing Rainbows' is basically a countryfied Walkin' With Jesus that morphs into Shine A Light :D I think i prefer it to Earth Trip, as Ripley has allowed himself to stretch out a bit more with the solos which i felt wasn't the case with the last album. The way the band used dynamics to carefully build up during Sway sounds really raw - much more like a live Spacemen 3 arrangement, as opposed to what we hear just a couple of years later on Fucked Up Inside. Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

I reckon anyone having a session or two over the next week should give this mix an airing at some point in the proceedings. I wouldn't be into all of it but there's enough to do the job. More for the dancers than chinstrokers.

Re: What gigs have you got coming up?

Re: What gigs have you got coming up?

Blur is playing in Belgium this summer, but the tickets are a bloody 60€... Should I go? is it worth that money? Are they live still relevant? Questions, questions, questions... Tickets in Dublin range from €79.65 - €89.90 before fees! Bear in mind that the support may not be to your liking either;...

Re: Coupe du Monde / Copa de Mondial / World Cup 2022 Qatar

England v France, game of the tournament for me. Quality from start to finish as two heavyweights slugged it out. England on top for most of it but alas not to be. A lot of the other matches have been thrilling for the last 10-15 minutes but not for the duration. This one was at it from the off. Wis...

Yeah, looking forward to Saturday alright, should be good.
Loved Son's pass to set up S.Korea's injury time winner against Portugal. If Messi played that we'd never hear the end of it.
