A couple of points: The US version is 27:05 and the Dutch/German version is 29:15 (on my CD display). Although I assume they are the same recordings, the playing time listed on the sleeve for the three tracks these EPs have in common differ slightly. The Dutch version was on open sale in Germany and...

I've just got online at home and was wondering if anyone could recommend a site where I can check out interesting stuff for free. Epitonic appears to have died, though I did hear they were changing to some kind of subscription deal. Otherwise can anyone suggest some good stuff that I probably wouldn...

Nick Cave was great, I'll definitely go and see him in November. I also left early, because the scream were getting boring. It seems to me that they've become very one-dimensional. Pity we didn't get a greatest hits, beacause the Screamadelica-era gig I saw at the Waterfront is one of my all-time to...

As far as this old-timer remembers, in the Brixton Academy the bar area affords a view of the stage, so maybe the young gentleman in question should take a bar stool along. I hope the young man did enjoy his evening, but I can assure him that my enjoyment and that of my companion who was sitting nex...
The feaky dancer in the red shirt with glasses and his mate deserve extra opprobrium for for going out twice for beer during the spz set, making us having to let them by 4 (count them, 4!) times. When on the second occasion I suggested that he might like to stay in the bar, he became quite offensive...

Recurring rerelease
From Sonic's website... Oh yeah - I should mention that Recurring is due for re-release by SpaceAge - apparently pretty soon - it's basically like the UK original - all the tracks + bonuses. The sleeve sports a rather fetching Mr Ugly remix, in his then psychedelic phase of excellence. Well, till ne...
