Re: Baseball
It is an opinion. Yes I am a big baseball fan. It is my favorite sport. Period. Most of that has to do with the history that goes with it. Like last night the Chicago Cubs ending a 108 year old drought. Yes I get that, that slice of history was what attracted me to watching in the first place. But ...

There was a good 30 for 30 film about that one.

Yea that was great - a great advertisement for the sport. It was a rollercoaster of incidents and emotions. It was a great final. I don't think I'm going to sit thru 200 matches per season but it's definitely given me a passing interest. "Best sport" is stretching it tho ;) But that's a de...

Poetry is meant to be delivered and performed, it's all so intertwined in the language & form. Of course it counts as poetry. Anthony Kedis is a lyricist, Thom Yorke's a lyricist. Bob Dylan is a poet.

Yea, now that you mention it I think you're right on the pacing. For the most part it was a steady, tense flow. It wasn't an action-orientated show, and in fact you could probably count the amount of action scenes on one hand nearly, so that might help explain the pacing: it really had no set pieces...
