I think I may have found out who it was - not 100% sure, but a bit of varied searching appears to maybe point to someone called Thierry Le Coq (would explain the unfortunate teasing he got). He also sadly died in January. Anyone able to confirm whether this was him?

It's the 29th October (I think). It's from Radio 1 Sound City @ Oxford Brookes Uni introduced by Steve Lamacq. It was released as a bootleg CD called 'Spaced Out' with the Jools Holland performance at the end. I have the CD in a box somewhere but have always been unable to rip it to my hard drive.

Well, in the end I did indeed receive the Sennheiser HD449 phones. Only actually got the chance to open them and test them out on Monday night (having a four year old really getting into Xmas fully for the first time!), wife and unfortunately another member of the family with ongoing health issues) ...

This is a web copy of the insert that came in the Creation International Guardians Of Rock and Roll compilation a while back.
