I've probably played the series of jazz albums bought as part of that DeAgostini collector series more than anything else this year, but they hardly count as mew music since most are from the 50s and 60s! I'm guessing J already had the orchestral/choir arrangements for Out of Sight/Oh Happy Day to hand and didn't have time/inclination to produce new ones for other songs. With time to reflect, I'd say it felt a different performance to the last set of shows, a bit more swampy and enveloping sound-wise...

Are they playing Nowhere? If so I would go along, despite thinking the Manchester show was a shocking load of... well, not my cup of tea. Really interested to hear more James - that's the first negative 'review' I've seen and both of the mates I have who've been to their comeback gigs haven't stopp...

Just got my tickets for Autechre live in London - an 'all-star' all-nighter at the old Brixton Fridge... shirts off and wrestling that should be!!
