It's a lovely venue. I was sat in row J a couple of years back for the Joanna Newsom gig there and it was lush. If you can be centralised anywhere in the venue then you're onto a winner. Out on the sides too bad either but I don't really dig the crooked neck thang at gigs.

Looks like the free cd is available with the album from other outlets as well if you search around. I've seen it online from places like Norman Records (I think). Two new albums that are floating my brain boat are: Higamos Hogamos - s/t album on DC Recordings, an excellent mix of glam stomping kraut rocking space pop, all analogue synths, fuzz guitar and bass. Marked up as 'essential' at the Rough Trade East shop. Fever Ray - fever ray.........all the reviews...

I've listed before in this thread befor e Xmas, I think, but some of my favs were Xmas presents (which I admittedly had put on a big list of hints) La Dusseldorf - s/t (I think as a whole I prefer this to the individual Neu albums which imo contained a dull / annoying track or two on each) Departmen...
