I think it's a great album. I've played it twice so far and think perhaps it's their best album since the Kid A/Amnesiac era, which is my favourite of their works. They've brought back the subtle melancholy of those albums, but with the themes of looking forward and the wisdom of age and experience ...

The jumping back and forth between stories each week is surely just a ploy to keep the ratings high. As a storytelling device it just isn't working for me. The impact of the action-packed episodes is completely lost by the time they've stop-gap it with a really slow-paced flashback episode, and don'...
