I'm ecstatic about the tracklisting - I love the fact that it's not just demos (i.e. rougher sounding versions of the final versions), but there are also broken down tracks, acapella versions, etc.

I think it depends on how you define pop, it could include millions of songs.

I'd say the best pop song ever is Be My Baby by The Ronettes. More recently, Girls Aloud are an amazing singles group - my favourite of their is probably Biology.

The Pet Shop Boys are all kinds of tremendous as well.

It was beautiful, they were fantastic. It was my first time seeing Spiritualized play an electric gig, and it didn't disappoint. Highlights were Shine a Light, Sitting On Fire, She Kissed Me, Lay Back In The Sun and the awesome ending of Come Together/Take Me To The Other Side. Absolutely incredible...

I know it sounds daft, but time difference is something that I'll never quite get used to. I work in Glasgow and have to deal with New York over the phone quite a bit, and it never ceases to impress me that when I start work it's only 4 in the morning (I think) over there.

I'm no expert on the Smiths, but I always thought that most (if not all) of the songs were co-written with Marr. Am I mistaken there?
