Re: Twin Peaks Returns

Brilliant, I've had to revisit this episode a few times. The atom bomb sequence and aftermath brings back memories of 2001 a space odyssey. Lots of dark stuff, and then the wonderful tall man scene with the music from (apparently) Threnody for the victims of Hiroshima. For me , the best episode so f...

Agree with all that has been said in the two previous posts about Nick Cave. Have also been to see him with The Bad Seeds and Grinderman over the years, going back to the early 90s. Unfortunately the 2017 tour in the UK includes The 02 in London, which I refuse to entertain thinking about. Bournemou...

New Candys at the Hope and Ruin Brighton . Really like this venue, probably half the capacity of The Haunt nearby, and easier to move around the venue upstairs . Lots of signature stuff from BJM on the latest album, but also some exploration into different genres, especially electronic. Wonderful gig sat night at the Forum. Hookworms were great, but Slowdive were Epic. Guitar sounds that
rip at your heartstrings.

Sharon Van Etten at St Georges church Brighton. Nice venue, sound not so good. Sharon V E can do no wrong at the moment in my eyes.Beautiful voice sad songs, can excuse the sound and some kind of undercurrent going on within the band. Some great slide guitar from support Marisa Anderson. Gallon Drunk...
