I'll be amazed if this happens at all. They seemed to raffle off more free tickets than you could use over four nights at the venue they've chosen.

I wonder will the LGM cd be 4 or 12 tracks? Also, what exactly is Jason 'curating' here? Or do they just mean he has given his blessing to the project? How hands on is his involvement? I am not having a go, just curious. My thoughts would be that curation in this instance means he signs off the mas...

Hope it's better than the last one which overall I found a snoozefest. This. The last couple of G!YBE LPs have received almost zero plays here (other than the four or five plays close after release) compared to the first couple which get played semi-regularly. Great that they are still at it though.

Nice thread... The absolute key moment was seeing the Sex Pistols on Top of the Pops - July 1977 - just after my 13th birthday. My tastes changed a lot after that and I played largely punk for years. Yep. I remember that very clearly although I was a bit younger than you. I was only 9 when that hap...

Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

I was in touch with the Alec Moss from Carpark. It appears that orders may be delayed if the order includes a CD (as mine via Bandcamp did). I did get the Glow-in-the-dark version directly from Carpark so that will tide me over. I think the Bandcamp downloads become active from Friday 5th.

Re: Top 5 songs from band or artist

Each of these is in no particular order. The lists are valid for today only and will probably look very different if I did this again.I'll presume everyone is familiar with Spacemen3, Spiritualised, Spectrum, and all the other post SP3 projects by former members Stereolab 1. Lo Boob Oscillator 2. Ha...

Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

Has anyone received a black vinyl LP or CD yet or is it just the 'glow-in-the-dark-red' LPs that have been distributed? I got both black and luminous at the same time in the same mailer! Only played it once and I was distracted but it sounded pretty good. Loved the track with Panda Bear particularl...

Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

(it is a milky pink in daylight) Ah, good! It's obviously meant to be that colour. Mine came today and I was a bit surprised when I opened it. Looking forward to listening this evening (and seeing it in the dark) :) It is nice to see this getting out a bit early. It is a lovely LP and just the thin...

Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

Really surprised some people have received copies already as it's not actually out for another couple of weeks. I managed to get one of the VERY limited ones from Carpark and an indies only one too. Do they come with a download code by the way? The limited one arrived here yesterday. It comes with ...

Re: Moon Duo/Wooden Shjips/Rose City Band

The Rose City Band album is there to stream in full and those of us who bought it were sent downloads too. I dropped a polite email to Mike Boyd at Thrill Jockey on Sunday asking for a FLAC d/l from Bandcamp. He responded yesterday and I've just finished downloading the LP. Might be useful bit of i...
