Weight plays a big part. If you are shipping only 1-2 valuable records, then US Priority is a good choice. It may cost a few more dollars, closer to $6 US, but includes $50 worth of insurance and is faster, usually 2-4 days, even across the 3,000 mile width of the country.

I'm avoiding the update myself, and I'm an Apple user and certified Apple tech.

I've also avoided iTunes 12, but I'm on OS X 10.8 for the time being, anyway.

Interesting to note about the Spanish version:

'Sister Morphine' which was used on all worldwide releases was banned in Spain and, as a result, was taken out of that country release, 'Let It Rock' (Live) was used instead.

The UO version has the standard track-listing.

I shipped a record to Paris, it was never delivered to its purchaser (local post office left a slip but there was confusion), so the package was returned to me in the USA.

$19 for round-trip airfare doesn't seem terribly expensive!

Would love to find an affordable original UK press of the double LP of LICD, but it's obscenely expensive.

People say the Plain reissues are not well done.

I have bought a few because an original press is often outside my price range. I don't find them to be horrible, but I don't have an original to compare them to, nor do I have a high-end system.

Due to exchange rates, it's prohibitive to buy from the UK here in the USA. I'm better off buying from Germany in Euros, and their shipping is cheaper - maybe due to their carrier, I heard it's DHL.
