amusingly, the new editors single munich, features a cover of stereolabs french disko on the b side.

the x files theme tune was initially released on a dedicated records sampler called (imaginatively)

radio dedicated

with spiritualized, cranes, global communication etc, etc.

300 or so copies, one to each UK chain with no name store. they were prevented from placing the cd on re-sale.

they are indeed one of the most criminally unsuccesful bands I have ever seen or heard. truly talented man that ashley naylor.

i saw them in richmond on xmas eve 1998, and there was about 12 people, and the super furries in the audience. that was it.

Redjetson are a top band, New General Catalogue is one of the best albums of the year so far superb....they are very good indeed. i do a stack of work with an unsigned bands charity, and they did some stuff with some of the bands, i'm not so keen on youth moview soundtrack strategies tho...

drowned in sound is pretty much the most vocal underground one currently in the uk.

though i think they'd probably shoot you if you were a vocal razorlight fan. the drowned in sound label has the rather fantastic red jetson i was raving about recently.
