Actually, the Nuggets have become a really fun team to watch. They are 8-2 since the trade and are playing inspired basketball. I am looking forward to seeing my defending MLS Cup Champ Rapids take on your Timbers on Saturday.

Nice mention of Denver band Tjutjuna in there. If you get the chance to see them live, definitely do it. They are opening for Acid Mother's Temple here in April which will be nice double bill. Great work all around on this. Looking forward to the next issue as well.

Great film. Portions of it were filmed on the Makah reservation on the Olympic Peninsula. I had the fortune of camping on the beach there back in August, 2000 during Makah Days. It is gorgeous.

I went to the show in Denver last Friday and it was immense. Brightblack Morning Light opened up along with a solo set from Kurt Heasley. Brightblack as usual had people sitting on the ground and provided a nice calm before the storm.

On those 2001 and 2002 dates, I am pretty sure the Riverside Church show was Oct. 25th, there was a Montreal show at Le Spectrum on Oct. 27th and a 9:30 Club show on Oct. 23rd. Also, there was a 9:30 Club show on April 20th, 2002. I hope that helps.

I was at this show and it was by far and away my favorite show of the few I saw on that first leg of LICD tour. Jason had a little Q&A session at the old Twist and Shout in Denver the afternoon before this show.

I agree that Crooked Rain is their best. I saw them on that tour in 1994 when I was a senior in high school. The Apples opened up before they added "In Stereo." Great show and great memories playing the crap out of Crooked Rain that year.
