Morrison died in 1971 and the movie was never finished. We watched this movie and have no idea what is ...

It's official, very limited, and sells for twice its original price on eBay. Was $150 when released. Three decades later, in a rare approach to historic rock (as opposed to jazz, where such notions are common), Rhino Records saw fit to release 1970: The Complete Fun House Sessions. As advertised, th...

mp3 is OK in a pinch (well, 160+ kbps) but what about lossless? (FLAC, SHN, APE)

what P2P services were you using in 1984?

Dog Food was on the movie soundtrack to Dogs In Space in 1987.
Previously released on Soldier in 1980.

By the way, the Funhouse Sessions box set is incredible... multiple takes of songs, some jams, truly a great album though it sold almost no copies.

i bought their CD and it was a let-down.

like a watered-down Kum By Yah version of the Flaming Lips.

sorry, that's my opinion.
i know others like them.

Discus works great on a Mac, and it's available for Windows as well.

You get a lite version (which is plenty good) with the purchase of Roxio Toast Titanium.

you can play real media on a mac; they have had free players for years.

the main problem files on macs are .avi files encoded with non-standard codecs, and a new alternative to .shn and .flac files that only decompress on windaes (can't recall the extension).

as a fan of both Spz & CSC (or ¢$¢), i've been aware of the "score, inject, score" meaning of both bands' titles. only at first, when discovering CSC/NY, did i think their name referred to blue-on-blue gun violence. didn't help that the title of the EP was "piece man" and h...

Cobra Phases is the only one i've sold off... loved the rest of them. I, too, dig the early ones, but Dots & Loops is very satisfying as well. Saw them a couple times live too, they were excellent. So sad that Mary died so young... already over a year ago! I'll treasure my autographed Miss Modul...

S3 Live show list online?

I have a handful of live audio tapes of Spacemen 3, and I'd like to compare the incomplete setlists with known versions. Does anyone maintain a list of the live Spacemen 3 gigs over the years? BTW, I'm open to swaps of these shows for more live shows, if the quality is at least "very good."...
