The original recording will be a WAV file as the CDr is lossless. I used a similar recording device (M-Audio Microtrak) for recording gigs for years. You can get really phenomenal results with good microphones and the built in mics aren't too shoddy either. That was kind of my point. So often CDR's...

No separate prints in the black vinyl. There are new photograph inner sleeves based on 1995 images and of course as the outer is a gatefold there is a large image there too. I really like the new Sula Bassana LP 'CV Sessions'. It is basically a series of instrumentals built using analogue synths, drum machines and guitars. In places it hints at something like Metallic Spheres by The Orb.

Got an email today to say that the LGM reissue is on the way. I'm also expecting Sonic's remix LP to show up any day now.

I've pretty much given up on the Black Angels these days. The last couple of things I bought by them were poor and the glow-in-the-dark Death Song LP was pretty much unplayable. I couldn't tell you when I last played one of their records.

I hope any reissues would be double lp's. I was surprised the last remasters remained single albums. still single LPs! At this stage I'm very much looking forward to a haircut. After that, a slow, steady and careful return to normality (whatever that is) particularly for my kids would be great.
