In the end I didn't bite. Sometime later this year, when the missus and lad are away at her parents, I'll grab the best bootleg from their US tour, stick it on my (pretty powerful) stereo at good volume, line up a chair in the perfect audio spot in the room and enjoy that with a nice bottle of red.....

In a live context I always think you have to take Electric Mainline together with Shine a Light, and for me the best non-bootleg version of those is on the Pinkpop version of the Abbey Road EP.

In terms of actually being there, Brixton Academy was one of my favourites...
