CF is playing correct. I was offered them on the Saturday of the Drone Rock records night but couldn't afford it really as Saturdays are busy anyway in the venue and the gigs on Saturday are as a rule free entry.
Not sure what other dates they have as yet, will keep my eyes peeled though

You are correct, the tour they played 7 or 8, it was 2 years after when they returned just to play a few shows (Albert hall Manchester), they played 2 or 3 (Let The Day begin and Rival being 2 of them)

New Six Organs of Admittance album. It's quite superb, more song based than previous efforts and a lovely folky/psych groove running through. Some nice melodic touches as well. A real return to form

Lanegan comes up trumps again. The exciting thing for me is 6 of the 10 tracks feature/were co written by the guitarist of Exit Calm. That bodes well as does this track

Yeah it was very last minute, my mate had a spare, so he gave me the heads up on Sat night, had stacks of domestic stuff to deal with so only agreed to attend at about 4pm Sunday, so very rushed on my part. Will hopefully catch up in due course I'm sure soon. That said glad I made the effort to go.

Also at the Night n Day for Michael Head. Agree it was top show. The key with the sound in that venue is get close, otherwise it just becomes, as you rightly point, really muffled. I was 2 from the front and the sound was great for me. His voice has really improved with age, I saw Shack twice before...
