Pretty devastating news. Whilst his lifestyle and health issues are widely known he seemed to be a survivor. Very sad. He was younger than me too. A predictable medley of his music lined up for today. RIP to one of the great voices of our era.

I watched this too. For starters trying to get that band's history squeezed into 2 hours was ambitious. It should have been 3 or 4 2 hour episodes.
