Does anyone have a simple and effective tool for ripping from Soundcloud?
I've been using http://soundcloud-download.com/ for at least a year, but it seems to have stopped working for me, no idea why.

Re: City vs United
Suarez got kicked all over the pitch v Hull - he's a marked man and centre-half grunts know they have a free reign against him - the drill is pretty much follow straight through on him and then wave their arms about in indignation when he goes down as if he's just perpetrated a Fonsbury flop. It wor...

Re: City vs United
Obviously the Andy Carroll reference is a painful low-blow. I still get tremors whenever I recall the horror at the insanity of that day, when it became evident that the stories of us chasing him were not just tabloid drivel, but that we were actually going to pay 20, 25, 30, 35million for him. It f...

Fantastic header from Bony to equalize there, terrible time to concede. He was offside, so people can stop saying the officials are on our side now eh? which people are these? Re: City vs United
I don't think Liverpool played well at all today. They should have had a penalty but that man again over-doing it probably puts the officials off! He was booked for diving today, also. All in all he "went missing in a big game". I'm sure he will be back to being one of the best against Hu...

Re: City vs United
Suarez was a disgrace today. This is what puts me off classing him as the best in the league, he goes missing in games like this and cheats every time he has the opportunity. Liverpool were outstanding today, but he really let them down especially when they handed him the captaincy. Joe Hart was ou...

Definately one of the best LPs of last year.
He's very creative - and I hear EAR in his stuff.
I also think there's similarities between Rannoch Dawn and Sonic's Your The One off the Spectrum LP.

Re: Best of 2013 lists
My biggest disappointment of the year was the Primal Scream album. Even now I cannot listen to more than 5 minutes of it. I’ve tried!! I keep thinking “I’m going to get it soon”, but it actively annoys me, and I just have to switch off after trying the first minute of 5-6 tracks. I agree with that ...

Re: Peter Kember on Stereolab ABC music
That's all correct, so I wouldn't have expected him to be presnet on all of them, but sure I've seen somewhere that his involvement was more than the single session that he's credited on. Small details - presumably this is the same period that the Splitting the Atom 7' came from?

On the tracklist PK is credited on 3 tracks on ABC Music, but I'm sure that I've heard, possibly from PK in an interview, that he played on more / most of it?

I've liked much of the stuff he's been putting out on youtube over past 2-3 years - lots of it patchy, but lots of it very good.
But the stuff that's been coming out past 3 months is definitely a step-up - far more And This is Our Music rather than Who Killed Sgt Pepper

Re: What gigs have you just been to?
I saw Sigur Ros on Monday @ The Apollo in Manchester. Wow,what a show a great set list with three new tunes, two of which were awesome. Finally got to witness Sfevn-G-Englar live as well. It may of been Monday and not ideal for a gig, but that was one hell of a show. Crowd went balliistic and a sta...

Re: New Fuxa 7" - Photon
I've bought the 7' with the download (although not sure when the download arrives, thought it may have been emailed but may possibly come with the 7' in the post). Re the lp - I've heard some of these tracks already as I found their YouTube page late last year and crawled through there - Amen is a g...

Re: New Fuxa 7" - Photon
Thanks for pointing this out.
I didn't know the lp had come out - that's great news. It's not that clear whether there is a physical release of it, do you know whether that's the case?
Many thanks

Re: What Are You Listening To Now?
Ride - Meltdown Unofficial live album on vinyl that I picked up for 99p plus p&p on E-Bay last week. Sounds great and brings back a lot of very happy memories of seeing them live back in the early 90's. 8) :D The Sonic Cathedral mix I'm listening to (one post above /\ ) has just ambled into an ...

Re: New MBV LP out before year end / EP next year
Has anyone seen any news on the support acts for the tour?
Specifically Manchester 10th March? It's a week away and I've not been able to see any acts listed??

Re: Orange Can
acquired the first two albums, but only listened to about half of the first one. I see what you mean, *really* spacey production. and yeah the band seems to morph in styles between the floyd, roses and betas. there's a lot to each track so i look forward to it becoming a bit more familiar. thanks f...

Re: Rebel Drones
I think we've written about these guys before. Peter H. from the Dandies was also in them. I remember they played a couple shows at The East End, a Portland bar Matt was once involved in but, this was several years ago. Unless Matt is reviving them I think those songs floating on youtube or on a fo...
