Spiritualized Announce New Album

Spiritualized will release their new album Sweet Heart Sweet Light via Fat Possum in the U.S., and the Domino imprint Double Six in the UK March 19. It was recorded over the past two years in Wales, L.A., and Reykjavik, Iceland. Sweet Heart Sweet Light follows 2008's BNM'd Songs in A&E.

I'm excited for the album and thrilled for a release date, but I gotta say that J has lost his knack for cool album titles. Songs in A&E was a mediocre enough title, but Sweet Heart Sweet Light sounds like the next release from Evanescence...

hahaha.. brilliant. Yeah, i think 'Sweet Heart Sweet Light' well.. its not really a Spiritualized type title is it to say the least.. then again "its a pop album"

hahaa, spot on!
it's not as good as 'shoot speed kill light' either, but then it *is* a lyric from the best bit of hey jane, which is just sublime. nice to capture that in an album title.
