Re: Studio version of Silent Night....
nope, this one's about fire...
'raging and weeping are left on the early road
now each in his holy hill
the glittering and hurting days are alomst done
then let us compare mythologies
i have learned my elaborate lie
of soaring crosses and poisened thorns'
now each in his holy hill
the glittering and hurting days are alomst done
then let us compare mythologies
i have learned my elaborate lie
of soaring crosses and poisened thorns'

not liking this at all, sorry
much too over-wrought
i much prefer the AM version (tho i'd have loved them to have included the second verse - thought the "glories stream from..." bit woulda been extra orgasmic @ those union chapel shows - but figured it was a bit too christian for j - the "christ our saviour is born" especially - which is why i thought they didn't do a full/studio version)

Barbican version of Silent Night....
This isn't a studio version BTW...
"Each clip is an exclusive collaboration between David Wilson and a different musical artist who have provided exclusive new and rare tracks for the project."
Lovin' Doggen's long, leaning slide playing on this...
It actually states:bunnyben wrote:on the website is says 'recorded specially for...'
