'Exposure' advice

Post by Gruff »

So, after years in the wilderness I'm wanting to try to do something with music again.

But how?

Has anybody any ideas of good ways a singer/songwriter in the basic blues/folk vein (with a few noisy guitar tracks too! ) might get some quality exposure, radio play for example?

I'm planning on setting up my own website (half way there using a free online DIY service); any other ideas?

Any suggestions gratefully received!
