new lazer guided melodies and pp t-shirts on ebay

“You're not Dostoevsky,' said the citizeness

'Well, who knows, who knows,' he replied.

'Dostoevsky's dead,' said the citizeness, but somehow not very confidently.

'I protest!' Behemoth exclaimed hotly. 'Dostoevsky is immortal!”

Not even close. The only "official" Pure Phase shirt I've ever seen was during that tour. It was navy blue with glow-in-the-dark Spritualized Electric Mainline logo on the front and the giant sun from the album artwork on the back. If I remember correctly.

i picked up a shirt on the PP tour. Its white with a huge luminous circle on the front with the album cover on the front and the tracklist in luminous writing on the back with a black circle background... still got it and still glows wonderfully in the dark, even after all these years. Dread to think of the chemicals in it that have made it work so well!

in that case aren't they an infringement of copyright?

Staying on topic of t-shirts but from a much, much later date. Does anyone remember a red one that was on sale on Sonic's website. I think it had 'f*** something' on the back. I wanted one but didn't for some reason. And I wish I'd have kept my 'Step 8' one as it would fit me perfectly now.

Is it this one? A friend of mine bought me this shirt a few tears ago when Sonic came through NYC.

I had a black Spacemen shirt, produced in about 1996, with the old Spacemen logo on the front - half the word written vertically, half horizontally. On the back it said in large letters 'FUCKED UP'. Sounds like that one. I don't know how many of those were produced but it was an official shirt.

It wasn't that one. I had a similar one to that one.

Runcible, I don't think it was that one you refer to. It was in his website around the time there was an issue of stuff being delivered, which may be why I didn't buy one. I'm sure it was red and possibly had a white collar.... and perhaps a big 3 on the back although I'm not absolutely certain of that.

talking of T shirts there's a Spacemen 3 one here

http://www.nightchannels.com/shop/index ... 3v8t64g0r5

this site has lots of good band ones actually, some designs I've never seen before- Can, Television, Soft Machine, Talk Talk... pretty cool
thing is it's an american site so costs to get one to me would be pretty eye watering I bet
I have always wondered about the copyright thing. I presume its not worth a band clamping down as its all promotion at the end of the day

That is a nice site, here is another one for SPZ items and others, they don't have any SP3 (scroll to bottom) :

They even have a PurePhase t-shirt, but it didn't state anything about 'glow in the dark' - are these legit, I don't think so ??

i've been toying with having a clear out of my t-shirts of late. Probably have a few Spiritualized ones that would make the "to go" pile. Will see what i have.
