Really sad news, the 12" version of I Feel Love is one of the greatest singles of all time.

Indeed - the first ever genuine house track? When I used to go to clubs in 1988 they still played it and the place would go nuts. Sad news.

Indeed - the first ever genuine house track? When I used to go to clubs in 1988 they still played it and the place would go nuts. Sad news.
I did a fair bit of stage lighting for bands and raves in the late 80's and early 1990's. This used to get a massive reaction whenever it was played. I think it was the Patrick Cowley mix that really used to do the trick. Absolutely killer bass squencer lines.

I actually saw Donna Summer open for the Detroit Spinners in the summer of 1976(I think).
She was pretty hot.
