It's not from 98, that was when they had the full choir/orchestra etc.

I'm really struggling to place that show - he's not wearing the silver trousers either, which rules out their Other Stage slot a year or two later.

And it's not inside either by the looks of it, which rules out the John Peel Tent shows in 2004 and 2008.

Any ideas anyone? Guess it's pre-98?

it's 92.
I used to have this film on DVD, it's alright, a montage of fly on the wall footage, nothing amazing.
I wouldn't see it just for Spz, they aren't in it for that long.

If you go to www.glastonburythemovie.com there are more details. Looks like they are re-releasing (in selected UK cinemas this month) an old early 1990's documentary with extra footage. wonder how much of the spiritualized 1992 set will be in it?

I always thought this film was from the 1993 festival. I've got it on DVD and I'm even on it.

Definitely not 1992. 1993? It feels like it might be later than that...?

I'm probably wrong.

Most definitely, 100 per cent, 1993. I was there. Maaan. :D

Pity they couldn't get the name of the song right though. Unless they're gonna show Things'll Never... segueing into Clear Rush in the film.

Just noticed on Amazon this comes out in September on DVD. Did anyone catch this on the short UK cinema release in June? If so is it worth ordering for £11.99?

didn't see it in the cinema but had the DVD version that came out a few years back. it had loads of extra footage, including a feature where you could randomise lots of extra video and audio together and leave it running. however not much of that was of actual music. the film itself was also much more about the general atmosphere and giving you a flavour of the vibe, rather than the music itself. the Spz and Verve bits were cool, and I also enjoyed Ozric Tentacles, but I'd emphasise that it's not worth buying for musical reasons in my opinion. I actually sold the DVD when I had a clear out a while back.

Thanks for the update. I think I will order the original 3 DVD set you can get off Ebay as that should have more of what I want to watch (Spiritualized, Verve etc). The 'new' film version seems to just be a single DVD of edited highlights.
