Rare & Unreleased Galaxie 500/Luna/Dean & Britta

Post by Broc »

Available at the incredible A Head Full Of Wishes site run by Andy Grange, dedicated to all things Galaxie 500/Luna/Dean and Britta, are these rare and unreleased Galaxie 500 tracks.

There are loads more tracks here by Luna/Dean and Britta/Damon & Naomi etc. It also has the pretty much unknown Wareham side project Cagnee & Lacey with his ex-wife which includes a nice cover of Madonna’s Borderline. Most of the Luna stuff is vinyl b-sides etc.

I have most of that stuff already but just downloaded the Galaxie 500 folder and have only just played their cover of Jonathan Richman’s Back In Your Life which is sweet.

If anyone has any trouble just let me know. Hope some of you enjoy some of the stuff here…

Are all of these different versions than those that appear on the albums? Or just some?

I haven't listened to them all but they're different, ie live, demos, radio sessions etc. That's why they're posted on the site. They might be strictly for hardcore fans so it might be worth a listen before you download.

There's definitely a lot of the tracks in the Luna folder that are only available as vinyl b-sides etc so that's worth a look also.
