So what track do you think will be on the next single? I might have plumped for I am what I am, but as the instrumental was on the last single it seems unlikely. I'd vote for Heading for the top or Get what you deserve, but both are a bit long for a single. Could be Freedom for another laid back one?

Edit - Also, even though they missed out on a nomination for the Mercury award, at least SWSL has been nominated for something - http://folkroom.co.uk/2012/09/the-4th-annual-hg-prize/ - not that I've ever heard of it!

I would have thought I Am What I Am too in terms of most commercial possibility, but the truth is that the third vinyl single from a middle aged pop artist will sell based on the fanbase rather than appealing to the public. So, whatever strikes J's fancy I suppose.

hmm I would have said I Am What I Am too. the other upbeat songs on the record, although melodic, aren't really single shaped...
not sure we need another ballad as a single to be honest.

I'm going to cast my vote, but not for anything from SHSL. I would love it if it turns out they've recorded the new songs ('A' Song & Perfect Miracle) from the recent gigs and release those. Been so long since a Spz single release surprised me by having non-album original material on it. Bet I'll be disappointed though.

Actually, despite the sleeve planning, is there going to be a 3rd single? Would have made sense to have released it at the same time as the current tour no?
