Fuxa/Cheval Sombre 7"

Post by synthiA »

I am pleased to announce that this limited release, pressed on 7" transparent red vinyl, is now available from Mind Expansion (http://www.mindexpansionrecords.com/). One the A side, we have the Fuxa track "I Love You" taken from the Electric Sound of Summer LP. On the B side is Cheval Sombre's cover of the Beatles' "Hide Your Love Away". Artwork by Anthony Ausgang.

Also a reminder to get your copy of the recent LPs from both bands. Fuxa's Electric Sounds of Summer LP features ex-members of Spiritualized and Spacemen 3 (Willie B Carruthers and Mark Refoy). Ceval Sombre's Mad Love LP was produced by Sonic Boom (who also plays on the record). These can be purchased here:

That's great news. However, I have to ask if there are plans to put these out (in particular the Mad Love LP) for a digital download?

Hi,

The Mad Love LP is available as a download through Boomkat (and probably others as well).

The Fuxa LP is on iTunes.

I'm pretty sure both LPs come with a digital download (the fuxa picturedisc does for sure).

I ordered this when it was initially available for $12, it seemed suspiciously low to me.

I was on Fuxa's Mind Expansion website last night and saw it now costs $18 for overseas shipping so got in touch with Randall to offer the $6 difference. He replied saying it woule be most welcome..."Between manufacturing costs and postage it has ran me out of business"..

The last thing I want is to see the end of these lovely 7"s so just spreading the word if anyone's interested.

I dont think Randall realized US Postal International rates went up 25% late last month. He is still losing money as it costs $12 to ship a 7" overseas now.

The hike in postage rates sucks! I sent a Warmth LP to the UK this week and it cost me $20.50, whereas before it was $13.50.

Its caught a lot of people off guard. Look how much a 7" is to send. What an Lp used to cost.
