Well, it's almost upon us now. Hopefully get a chance to hook up with those of you who are going to this and get to put some faces to names.
Line-up wise, as I don't know any of Shellac's or Slint's material, Friday for me is looking rather weak. Plus the only 2 acts I really want to see on that day (Fuck Buttons and Follakzoid) overlap. I'm another who can't understand why FB's are on so early as well
Slight clash with Hookworms and White Fence on the Saturday and could be a bit of a scramble at the end of Comet on Fire's set to get a good spot for Loop's headline slot on the main stage. Ty Segall clashing with Goat on the Sunday is a bit disappointing. I've also realised that, although I'm sure I'll discover some new and old music, that there's only 6 or 7 bands over the whole weekend that I really, really want to see. Oh well, it's going to be an amazing weekend I'm sure.
By the way, I've got a logistical question which I wondered if anyone that has been to one of these weekends before can help with. I'm driving down tomorrow with 3 friends in the car with me. Now,the ATP website states that there is free parking onsite but not enough for everyone. They also mention, however, that local shops and pubs are just a short drive from the site. So, how easy is it to drive in and out of the site if I'm lucky enough to secure a parking space?
