Can some kind soul point me to downloads of the tracks off the Hypnotized / Just To See You Smile 3" CD (or the 12" vinyl)?
I picked up the CD single over the weekend but when I opened it, saw that it was one of those 3" CDs inside a UK 5" single jewel case. Pretty cool, if not for the fact that these are unreadable by my slot-load CD/DVD drive... :/
Anyhoo...the versions are (ever so) slightly different for the double A-side tracks, and of course the B-side "The World Is Dying" is a little rarer. I can probably track down a tray-load CD drive, but it might take some time, so I thought I'd appeal here for some generous person to save the day.
Cheers!

I never realised they were different from the LP versions. How so?

For Just to See You Smile, it sounds like the bass is a different take, or at least the reverb is different from the version on Recurring. There is some kind of difference in the background. Can't really pin it down. The guitar is slightly different. Also, this version is 7:50.natty wrote:I never realised they were different from the LP versions. How so?
AFAIK, Hypnotized is the LP version.

That 12" might be my favorite record that I own. I had the poster from it up in my dorm room last year and just put it up in my new room this afternoon.

I've also got the 3" CD-have had it for ages but never been able to play it! Wasn't 'Revolution' also issued as a 3" CD single?
