Really loving the new Pop Group LP, anyone else listened?

Not so sure on the second to last track, but I'm really impressed with the album on the whole.

on first listen, quite mixed feelings. there are elements of it I like but it's more on the poppy side of the spectrum than I expected. I know to expect another Y would be silly, but there's little of the free jazz and chaos that album had.

I'm disappointed to hear it didn't really grab you, I found it a completely gripping listen the first time i put it on. So much that surprised me throughout. Sure, it isn't classic Pop Group in terms of it's sound, but I feel they've really pulled through to 2015 with a vital release and done themselves proud.

oh, I'm definitely gonna keep listening. that was just my first impression. I was probably bringing too many expectations in terms of what they've done before.

listened a bit more and this has grown on me.. some dodgy moments and some stunning moments, but that's to be expected with the melting pot of influences this band works with.
there are some funky as hell moments on there! should be fun live at least/
