it's so cool to see them back, and that's a great setlist including some rarities. However I'm not hugely interested in an acoustic Ride (although they were definitely more poppy songwriters than a lot of shoegaze bands)... I want them plugged in and cranked up loud please...

I actually thought the same thing.Have to agree with Angelsighs though, Ride acoustic doesn't interest me in the slightest. Nice setlist all the same.

there's rumours flying about of a Ride hometown show in Oxford sometime soon... this would be perfect for me as it's a short drive away... I am gonna keep my ear to the ground

i remember hearing an acoustic version of Close My Eyes that really moved me. I think it was Bell solo. The nuances of his voice really came out. It was lovely.

This would be amazing, I live very close and am working in Oxford at the moment.
