best entertainment news story of the year!

Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has been added to the line-up of this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Glastonbury 2015 runs at its traditional home of Worthy Farm, Somerset from June 24-28, with Kanye West, Foo Fighters and The Who headlining the event.

Now, the organisers have confirmed that Stephen Hawking will make a "special appearance" at the Kidz Field childrens area. It is not yet known in what role Hawking will be a guest, but others on the bill include celebrity magician Dynamo and CBeebies presenters, Alex Winters and Katy Ashworth.

Hawking recently comforted One Direction fans by suggesting that there could be an alternate universe where recently-departed member Zayn Malik is still in the boyband.

The scientist told an audience at the Sydney Opera House in April: "My advice to any heartbroken young girl is to pay close attention to the study of theoretical physics, because one day there may well be proof of multiple universes. It would not be beyond the realms of possibility that somewhere outside of our own universe lies another different universe. And in that universe, Zayn is still in One Direction."

"This girl [in the audience] may like to know that in another possible universe, she and Zayn are happily married," he added.

Stephen Hawking recently covered Monty Python's 'Galaxy Song' for Record Store Day. The song was originally sung by Eric Idle for the 1983 Monty Python film The Meaning of Life. In the film, a surgeon (played by John Cleese) seeks help from Idle's character to persuade an elderly woman to donate her liver by explaining how vast the universe is.

Hawking's version was released on limited edition seven-inch vinyl earlier this month. Hawking had previously appeared onstage with the comedy troupe during their live reunion shows in 2014.
“You're not Dostoevsky,' said the citizeness

'Well, who knows, who knows,' he replied.

'Dostoevsky's dead,' said the citizeness, but somehow not very confidently.

'I protest!' Behemoth exclaimed hotly. 'Dostoevsky is immortal!”
