“You're not Dostoevsky,' said the citizeness

'Well, who knows, who knows,' he replied.

'Dostoevsky's dead,' said the citizeness, but somehow not very confidently.

'I protest!' Behemoth exclaimed hotly. 'Dostoevsky is immortal!”

Bye Bye. King. Tonnes of music would not have been made without people looking up to you.

I just heard B. B. King was gone.
89 years of age. What a life!

Saw him in 1985-ish at a small club in Boston. After the show he sat stage side and people were lined up to shake his hand, etc.. My buddy and I waited in line, shook his hand, and then got back in line to shake his hand again!
A great man. May he rest in peace.

one last chance to see him--
------

The body of BB King will be displayed in an open casket in Las Vegas this Friday (May 22).

The blues legend, who passed away in his sleep aged 89 last Thursday (May 14), will be buried in his hometown of Indianola, Mississippi, but a public viewing and private service for family members will take place in Las Vegas, where he lived at the time of his death.

His business agent, LaVerne Toney, says the viewing will be held from 3-7pm at Palm Mortuary West, Billboard reports. Mortuary manager Matthew Phillips says there won't be a memorial service during the viewing.
