New SFA Single - May 13, 2016

Post by TheWarmth »

Super Furry Animals released "Bing Bong" today. It's on my mp3 player and ready for my commute. Fucking psyched.

I love SFA, but not sure about this. I don't liked "robotized" voices at the best of times, and the bing bong vocal just gets on my tits. Has it been released for Euro 2016?

So SFA are playing Fuzzy Logic and Radiator back to back in November/December 8) Hope I manage to get tickets for Dublin.
Fuzzy Logic is also getting the deluxe reissue treatment plus a new compilation as well.

All we need now is some new material.

In recent interviews, Gruff has said that they have no plans to record an album, but that they might release a few news songs here and there. Definitely a bummer, IMO. I think at this point in order to continue justifying the reunion they need a proper release beyond the one song we've gotten so far.

In other SFA news, Gruff's soundtrack for Set Fire To The Stars is coming out soon:

Gruff said that some of the mixes of the tracks on Fuzzy Logic are different from the original version. I'm assuming it'll be subtle, but I'm still interested. I already have an original copy on vinyl, so I'm debating as to whether I need the 2xCD set AND the new vinyl pressing. Might be overkill, but I'm a fanboy.
