I will own up to listening to ChartMusic podcast, yeah pretty funny and informative as well, in fact I was probably obsessed with it over the Xmas holidays, catching up on all the previous episodes.
Can`t say I have any other music podcasts I listen to, usually football related, although currently working through a series on The Wire,

I could do with some music podcast recommendations too. obviously there's some interview type stuff where musicians get interviewed. but where are the good podcasts where people just shoot the shit about music.. ?

There is Sound Opinions who do reviews, deep dives on some albums as well as live sessions sometimes. but it's not amazing. I only download it, if it features an artist I particularly like

Song Exploder is quite good, a song is totally dissected by it's creators

Dead Rock Stars is a new one, not actually listened to it yet but I will later, recommended by The Quietus and produced by Mick Rock who knows his stuff, first episode is about Lemmy should be decent listen I reckon. http://thequietus.com/articles/24616-de ... cast-lemmy
