Pete Shelley, RIP

Post by niamhm »

Seems to be a regular occurrence now losing rock stars at this time of year, and as i`m sure a good few around here would agree, 63 is no age at all really. If he did nothing more than bring the Sex Pistols up to Manchester and set in motion a chain reaction that basically birthed indie and alternative music as we know it to this day then that would be enough but the Buzzcocks had such a run of singles you would need to be Lennon and McCartney or The Stones to match them , rest in peace man.

Agreed. This one is a shocker and such a huge loss. RIP Pete Shelley.
