Paul Drummond - 13th Floor Elevators A Visual History

Post by niamhm »

On the back of his 1st book this looks very interesting, it seems to be about £30 for a 300 page paper back in the UK though :( by any measure that seems a bit steep, Mrs M would go nuts if she caught a sight of that receipt   Not sure I can even convince myself that`s a good deal. Wonder if I could float the idea that this might make an ideal Fathers Day present

Ordered a copy from Book Depository last week for a little over €25, post included, if anyone is looking for a slightly cheaper copy.

Seconded. Arrived yesterday and very nice it is indeed.

Would love to see other bands get this treatment. Specifically JAMC, Spacemen 3/Spiritualized and The Heads. Oh, and The Velvets too.

You are outside of your league of dreaming when you think having similar books about Spacemen 3/Spiritualized. Yes, i own that Drummand book now also. Who has the most biggest collection of SP 3/SPZ press cuttings - me or Runcibles?

From what I seen of this book it looks amazing - Alot of unseen images and memorabilia. Pretty much a dream project for a publisher. Definitely going to pick up a copy of this.

Got mine as well. A friend said he got his for pretty cheap on Amazon ($25?), so might be worth a look.
