i was listening to oh baby, a song i never really liked but one he played often and it occurred to me, could it be literal? did he have any new children at that point? it sounds like a song to a new child
I’ve been visiting morgues and monasteries
Looking for the necessary body parts
Limbs and livers and brains and hearts
I want to bring someone to life - is what I want to do
I want to create my own version of you

I wouldn't be surprised. He likes doing things with double meanings.
Stop Your Crying similarly could be about a lover. Or literally, you want your baby to stop crying.
