Sears tower gig??

I just read that Spiritualized played in the Sears tower in Chicago? Or had planned to at least. Can anyone verify this?

the sears tower show never happened.
just world trade center and cn tower.

i remember something to the effect of a show in the arctic or something. with
the northeren lights as the backround being the "highest show..." did that ever happen?

spsiritualized was supposed to do a show at the sears tower in 97. sears tower people got wind of what type of band spiritualized is and what their fans are like and backed out at the last minute. i had met jason at the double door show the weekend it was supposed to happen and he let me know the bad news.
