On dodgy's 1994 version of "stayin' out for the summer" (big funky box)

I've seen all of these apart from the Radiohead one. Whereabouts is that one?

ha ha ha. really, though, where? there's a pretty varied bunch on scream records; ian curtis, rosa luxemborg, curtis mayfield etc etc. and bobby and andrew get a thankyou on amazing grace. but i can't think of the scream having namedropped j.

I'm not sure about The Scream dedication either. I'll have a look later.

I have a performance of The Scream where they dedicate Medication to Jason.

I think it's the London Astoria 2000 show. I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure it's that show or either Sheperds Bush 2002.

Also the same show where Bobby has a go at the crowd for being so flat.

"Typical fuckin' cockneys."

And he winds them up even further by saying he hopes Germany win the football. This was during the summer. Must have been Euro 2000.

p/s- SFA are playing here in san diego on dec 1, why don't you see if you can make it. c'mon, it will be a blast, tijuana is only minutes away, imagine the trouble we could get into, better yet, you probably shouldn't.

Yes, don't believe me. I just checked when I got home from work and I'm dead wrong. The drugs, I mean my mind, must have gone horribly wrong at some point . . . sorry

bit of an odd topic this, however trainspotters may notice the second BRMC album and the last finley quaye album both contain credits to jason,

and of course finley had a hit single with `spiritualized`. (the record, not the band).

i'd guess the oedipussy album (if you can track a copy down) also has one.

NO chance. Id be calling the shots on a track Id have written entirely. He could eat celery on it if he wanted.

half asleep and felt like posting...

there's a shout out to spacemen 3 in the low b-sides n rarities box, says they were a big influence on them - plus there's the cover of lord can you hear me.....good stuff...

while i'm thinking about it, the most interesting inlay dedications i've found of late would have to be those in the most recent six by seven album, which has in the middle a couple of lines from mercury rev 'frittering' and neil young 'on the beach'... two of my favourite tracks...typical that [in my opinion] the album itself was kinda lazy... (in comparison to their other stuff)

oh yeah, and i think 6 by 7 have a dedication to jase somewhere......
and i seem to remember one of the spz crew wearing a 6 by 7 t-shirt at the glasto 04 gig.......

yawn.....that'll do for now...
