what impresses me about this clip is just how fucking ballsy the Spaceman is by playing this difficult, non-radio song for a large television audience... and then add on the little coda which is just gonna confuse the dull mass of the general public. This would never happen with an American band, especially today. I can't get over how strange and tackily (?) otherworldly the whole thing is.

they did Come Together, Broken heart and Oh Happy Day. And at the start when they pan round the studio to show all the artists performing on the show they let rip with a glorius cacophonous drone on one note. Its a special noise.
