the question says it all! i like reading things like this cos in the past i have found out about new artists who are not so well publicised in the uk through doing it! mine are the new records by:
-Jesse Malin (the Heat)
-Ben Kweller
-Papa M (burning alms)
-Daniel Wylie
-Bonnie Prince Billy (greatest palace music)
-Maybe a new Primal Scream record hopefully!

Ditto, should be out in two or three weeks. I'm also looking forward to the new PS I Love You, which will feature Mr W.B.Carruthers on bass!!!! The Spectrum album should see the light of day soon, that'll be interesting.

Always a pleasure, never a chore!

I forgot to say, I'm also looking forward to the next FreeLoveBabies disc, and there also seems to be a new Lupine Howl album on the way.

I can't wait for any new releases by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, esp. after hearing the song 'Complicated Situation' played live - it's constantly playing in my head now.

Also, bands like The Church (who have a new album out called 'Forget Yourself'), The Brian Jonestown Massacre and indeed The Betas deserve any promotion they can get, at least in my opinion...

nin has something coming out soon too!!!
although, not sure about lupine, although i would like to see some new warlocks and BJM.
And if i could get my shit together and record something, that would be interesting, hell, i have 2000$ worth of guitars and effects sitting out in the garage, plus the computer studio stuff, i just have to sit down and use it. damn it. hehe.
actually, i am waiting for something to actually move me again musically like when i hear LAGWAFIS, the postal service or Sigur Ros's (). although Ti Ki be ti do or what ever was pretty interesting. anyone releasing something like SGT Pepper's anytime soon? you know something completely new? and where the fuck is kevin sheilds!!!! can we abduct him, stuff him in a studio, and not let him near the master tapes!!! that might solve a few problems, like getting something released. hehe

Yes, All Night Radio is one Beachwood related album. But look out for Mystic Chords Of Memories featuring the other members of the Sparks. Out later this year on Rough Trade I think.
Also new Built to Spill is highly anticipated.

2004 releases

I was a little disappointed by the All Night Radio album. It's very psychedelic, but the songwriting is a bit weak.

The new Charlatans (Up At The Lake) comes out in May - that should be cool. I really liked Wonderland, but a few of you have mentioned that you liked Us And Us Only better. Anyway, their albums are always quality.

SFA release their remix album Phantom Phorce in April!

Divine Comedy have something new out soon ... their last one was pretty good.

Sondre Lerche's Two Way Monologue is really growing on me.

I've read that Supergrass have a brand new single coming out called Kiss Of Life to coincide with their hits album.

The Von Bondies album is a letdown. Didn't do anything for me.

Lali Puna's new album is pretty cool.

Luna are recording.

I'm super psyched for the Libertines record!!!

MORRISSEY ~ YOU ARE THE QUARRY

Will the Oasis album come out this year???

Off the top of my head I'd say

The polyphonic spree, Gomez, SFA, The Streets and The Charlatans although that's more out of habit than any great anticipation. They've become increasingly patchy Rob Collins died but I'm not sure if there's a connection or not.

I'm really excited for the Reigning Sound record out next Tuesday.

Also, Could anyone tell me which Polyphonic Spree album would be good to get first? I don't know anything about 'em really, but do want to check them out-just don't know where to begin.

Thank you.
