Spectrum and Walking With Jesus

Post by Starfish »

I've been playing Sonic Boom's "Spectrum" album this afternoon - and what a smashing album it is too.
Forgotten all about it really. Anyway, a while ago I think there was some discussion on the lyrics to Walking With Jesus and, in particular:
So forgive me sweet Lord
For all of these sins
Because I can't stand this life
Without all of these things.

(or something)

Well, on Sonic's "Angel", he sings the same verse with the final line: Without sweet heroin.
Wasn't there some debate about this being the original line to Walking With Jesus? And by choosing to go without it, it gave Jason the lyrics credit? (Although there's no credit for Jason on the Spectrum record.)

Sorry, have we talked about this before...?
