Jason, Doggen and...??

hi,

many years ago I went to a Spiritualized gig, it was 2003, and I remember 3 guitar players, Jason, Doggen and who's the other guy who has a Gibson Firebird V? can anyone help me, please? Mike Mooney, Mark Refoy? you can check some pics of a San Diego show in Flickr...

That'd be John Coxon, he of mighty Spring Heel Jack. I'm not sure why he isn't part of the current set up - you'll find a few people here miss his presence.

Coxon is one cool fella.
Although I prefer the current power of the Jason/Doggen duo, I did love that Firebird- they are such lush looking guitars.

The Firebird is a great guitar, indeed--the look, the feel, and the sound of the minibucker ones especially.

furthermore to the whereabouts of Coxon, found this tidbit on the net:
